ಹನ್ನಳು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಿ ಸಿತು, ನನ್ನ ಕೊಂಬು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತವಾಯಿತು; ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಯಿತು, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಟ್ಟೆನು.

And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
